AKD Sound Mod Lite is an alternative to AKD Sound Mod created in response to a couple of reports of reduced performance. AKDSM Lite contains only replacements for stock files. However, typical replacement files are still larger than stock (necessary for higher quality), so same performance is not guaranteed.

Installation
*important: before updating to AKDSM Lite v1.1, go to \Combat Mission Shock Force\Data\Z and delete the folder labeled “sound.” AKDSM will now be contained in the “Z_AKD Sound Mod” folder in your “Z” folder. If you are switching from standard AKDSM v1.1 to lite AKDSM v1.1, delete the existing “Z_AKD Sound Mod” folder, and do the same if you going back to standard.
The download archive contains 4 archived folders. First extract the archive titled “AKDSM Lite Base Mod v1.1” to your CMSF root directory. Play as is, or add optional add-ons over the base mod to suit your personal tastes by extracting the desired option to your CMSF root directory. If you change your mind, simply reinstall the base mod files and all the options will be overwritten. Options can, of course, be used on their own as well.
