I present to you a modification for the game in the winter scenarios.

I present to you a modification for the game in the winter scenarios. Mod contains winter textures of the earth, buildings, uniforms of soldiers, cars and guns as well as sounds and interface.

The following mods were taken as a basis:

NO FORMATION MARKINGS MOD – CMFI – BRITISH ARMY http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=6961 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=6961#comments Wed, 01 Aug 2018 17:12:21 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=6961 In short these mods remove various details on the stock textures that depict the units being part of a specific formation. This pack in particular focuses on the vehicles and uniforms of the British Army in Combat Mission Fortress Italy. The mod is probably not compatible with vehicle and uniform texture mods from other authors. For the longer version about the mods continue reading.

The pictures above illustrate the reason I decided to create these. The game uses the same textures for some soldiers/vehicles no matter the formation (or sub-formation) they belong to. And so the markings on a soldier/vehicle tend to not match with what your unit information panel states. Should you have some knowledge about the manner in which the British Army marked their vehicles and uniforms then you probably have noticed other similar conflicts with them also.

Seeing my gunners and sappers appearing the same as the infantry annoyed me. But I was otherwise content with the stock uniform/vehicle textures. The only practical solution seemed to be to remove any such identifying markings from the textures. So that’s what I did. Now with this mod it is just the names given in the unit information panel that try to depict whom your soldiers/vehicles are, and nothing in the 3D view should contradict that.

  • Formation Badges Removed From Uniforms

  • Shoulder Titles Removed From Uniforms
  • Cap Badges Removed From Uniforms
  • Tactical Signs (Coloured Shape and Vehicle Number) Removed From Vehicles

  • Bridge Rating Signs Added To Some Vehicles
  • War Department Numbers Have Not Been Added Or Removed

Tis Mod can be used for every CM game Module also the awaiting CMSF2 and more…¿¿futur will tell us ??

Listen tanks and vehicles burning and feel the hot, but with the time, the vehicles in flames noise, will decrease and be more quiet untill you will listen, a soft little flame burning the last page of the manual of “The good soldier in war”, and a crack of match, from a smoker of your squad.

You will have an overview from burning vehicles and a feeling of extrem hot and a sound disturbing your ears…don t be to close from vehicles burning!! 😉

This Mod dont disturb any others sounds or visuals movements in game, the size of the file is only bigger…this is the only difference !

Recording about 10 min, details have always a good and a bad side:
this cost time is nice to your ears or your eyes but the
!!! File very big !!!

But Me love details…thus !

Because is a sound on loop, be aware about your sound level volume, when he starting reading again, the difference of sound is enorme!
remember …a feeling of extrem hot and a sound disturbing your ears…!!

I was trying to decrease also the pictures of flames, but by default of about 20 ímages/sec I will need approximatively 2000 pictures…thus…be happy with !!!

Procedure:

Deziped the rar file, to find a (.brz file) put in your Z folder of your CM, dont worry about your original one, he will not be altered cos the Z folder will take priority to be reading, but I dont think I have to tell you !!!

If you dont need it, simple…don t install it !

Like the first part , I don’t want listening engines of tanks or vehicles permanently ON, on the battlefield,
also when the crew are just making a short Reece on foot,
they have to turn the engine of OFF and save fuel.
and this is what they can doing now for a short time,
and listen little birds and the wind blowing in the bocage …

An immersion of sounds for CMBN/MG…!!!
the next will be for CMFB/CMRT with feeling of cold and extreme cold…

The second Part will be like my olds Mods, reserved for Vehicles.

• you will have the possibility to put engine on/off of vehicles/tank shortly.
• listen radio contacts with high/down echelon.
• Preparation of the MG on the turret.
• The silence is (not a bug) is also a part of the mod giving the time to the crew to make a short reece on foot on the battlefield .

You will have shortly a little peace on the battlefield from your big feet engines !!

At first I was inspired by this camouflage and then I’ve decided to make an adopted version of it for the model in the game.

I’ve changed certain things so that those models would fit in the game better.

Models in this mod are not really dirty, there is some amount of dust, mud and other stuff but overall those models aren’t that dirty.

Overall I think that this mod should fit your Hybrid Forces Mod collection well.
