I believe he was inspired by the music splash that came with CM:A and applied the technique to SF (and now SF2). It is very atmospheric and I recommend you listen all the way through at least once to get the full affect. He did a great job on it. I figured I’d make it available so people new to SF2 could use it. Or give those who missed or lost it another stab at acquiring it.

NOTE: Works with both SF and SF2.

This is a new Project about US Voices, Environnement, effects, (01).

(Voices US Embark/Disembark 01).

 

Is a voice and sounds effects for US crews and soldiers.

British, Commonwealth and
German/Italian army come later!

Listen tanks halftracks light vehicles crews, open/close hatches/doors, commanding/ jumping/running/breathing and go prone close to the vehicle.

If you are interresting than :

1)Make a research of the folder (embark/ Disembark) from your CMBN.

2)Backup your files X:\Battlefront\…\(embark/ Disembark)

3)Replace and put the folder (embark/ Disembark) in your Z folder and let’s begin the game.

Note
Voice Commanders are using for tanks but also light vehicles and APC, this is why the noise must be for hatches or doors.

The files voices are not really in good coordination with the game animations, but I cannot change anything about the speed, apologise about this inconvenience.

This represents soldiers on movements with combat gear and
weapons.

You will listen :

Soldiers crawing, walking, running with combat gear with their
weapons and cartridges, listen shoks helmets, but also listen,
noise of mess tin and water bowl, (water moving in bottle when
they are moving ), showel, gaz mask…reserve whisky, pin up
poster, cigarettes,lighter… and all what a soldier can carry on
with him !

There is no secret more.

Note : the Snow version is not operational now and not include in
this mod.

Thus backup yours files from X:\Battlefront\…\soldier movement

Like I told you you can use this Mod for all yours CMs series.

Including CMSF(2).

New sounds will come soon…let me think about…

Soon the same soldier will be in the snow and also almost
frozen…

Update include, a decreasing sound level of the file, and a suppression from some noises and commands orders.
Like the first part , I don’t want listening engines of tanks or vehicles permanently ON, on the battlefield,
also when the crew are just making a short Reece on foot,
they have to turn the engine of OFF and save fuel.
and this is what they can doing now for a short time,
and listen little birds and the wind blowing in the bocage …

An immersion of sounds for CMBN/MG…!!!
the next will be for CMFB/CMRT with feeling of cold and extreme cold…

The second Part will be like my olds Mods, reserved for Vehicles.

• you will have the possibility to put engine on/off of vehicles/tank shortly.
• listen radio contacts with high/down echelon.
• Preparation of the MG on the turret.
• The silence is (not a bug) is also a part of the mod giving the time to the crew to make a short reece on foot on the battlefield .

This Mod dont disturb any others sounds or visuals movements in game, the size of the file is only bigger…this is the only difference !

You will have shortly a little peace on the battlefield from your big feet engines !!

( love to listen turrets of tanks), but like I said on the forrum CMs systeme files don t allow to use this kind of sound…a little sad !

 

This represent Sounds from Big Guns with falling shells, this is a new version without move or turrets,

(I let the version 01 a little more on the net but will delete it soon.)

 

This is a new concept of sounds for CMBN where I was trying to give to the players an Immersion and impression of fire and noises.

In general rule this give the effect that i want added and share with some of you.

For some of you regarding to the comments or advices from Mod before, the noise could be a bit too loud…but waiting to yours appreciations.

Thus I was trying to give a certain sound for a categorie of tank but, because the systeme of sharing sounds in CM serie don’t allow it, there are some anomalies in the mod.

Sounds are modded of sounds, not of sounds of movements, this is why you will see sometime turret moving without sound but also listen a sound without see a movement of turret!! (you follow !!!)

A little like a movie in a slow motion or a bad movie sound syncronisation, sorry for this but there is any sounds in CM system representing a movement of turret, this why I am already happy with the result.

Good to know :

More caliber are used for differents tanks or guns like Flak but also Tiger, this is why the differents sounds for elevation of guns semi elec or manual plus many many others little details…

Sounds Weapons Mod are based of weapons sounds from
others games because I made a mix of them I cannot tell you
exactly what come from where !!??
and in fact I think we don’t mind !!

I was trying to give an Immersion from smalls arms noise,
including extraction of cartridges, and a step by step shot, but
also a burst shooting !

I was watching more clips about smalls arms ww2 and have making this one,

some error are probably on, but I m not an expert from weapons and
be already satisfied with the result,my ears and my eyes are only the support that I had!

…this is why, if you detect some bugs, let me know !!

Good to know :

Sounds Vehicles Mod are based of real vehicles engine
These Part one will be for the Allied Vehicles.
Another part is in the tube if you will enjoy this one.

(note: because there is no heavy tank in the Us army in Normandy
I put the engine from the Churchill Tank), Categorie heavy tank in the british and commonwealth.
