It was inspired by Umlaut’s work with the German Uniforms in Fortress Italy. Ever since using those files, going back to clean uniforms while fighting in a snowstorm has appeared a little off.

The base textures are 99% from the Final Blitzkrieg base game with a handful of others from the community for increased variety in the snow set. Special thanks also to Umlaut for giving permission to use his CMFI Uniform snow effects where applicable.

All files in this package are already mod tagged, so the snow textures will automatically appear each time the ground conditions of a battle is set as ‘Patchy Snow’ or greater.

I live in one of the hottest climates on the planet and have spent a grand total of six days of my entire life in snow. If there is any snow grogs out there with suggested improvements just let me know.

Aris Panther A Late V2 by Aristoteles http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2671 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2671#respond Wed, 28 Oct 2015 11:46:00 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2671 One year and a half ago my modding “adventure” with CMx2 started. At that time all I had was, some brushes, Photoshop, lots of patience, some not-so-good ideas,…and time. I started with the vehicles I liked the most, that is, Panthers and Tigers. Now, after lots experimentation and errors, I took a look at my first mods and immediately thought I could easily improve them. So here you are, a Version 2 of my beloved Panther A Late with 4 decal options (decals look much better now too, I think) full of dirt, bullet holes, sand, mud, stains, discolored paint, rain drops marks,…and some other goodies barely noticeable except for those screenshot lovers out there. Enjoy.

Aris Panzer II Lynx V2 by Aristoteles http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2662 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2662#comments Wed, 28 Oct 2015 05:36:53 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2662 A light reconnaissance tank, the Ausf. L was the only Panzer II design with the overlapping/interleaved road wheels and “slack track” configuration to enter series production, with 100 being built from September 1943 to January 1944 in addition to conversion of the four Ausf. M tanks. Originally given the experimental designation VK 1303, it was adopted under the alternate name Panzerspähwagen II and given the popular name Luchs (Lynx). The Lynx was larger than the Ausf. G in most dimensions (length 4.63 m; height 2.21 m; width 2.48 m). It was equipped with a six speed transmission (plus reverse), and could reach a speed of 60 km/h with a range of 290 km. The FuG12 and FuG Spr a radios were installed, while 330 rounds of 20 mm and 2,250 rounds of 7.92 mm ammunition were carried. Total vehicle weight was 11.8 tonnes.

The vehicle was used by Infantry Reconnaissance Regiments and the RAF Regiment in Tunisia, Italy and Western Europe. After the war, some vehicles remained in service with the British units in India and in the Far East. The LRC was used widely by the Reconnaissance Corps.
The Mk III had an enclosed roof with a turret for the machine gun and a 4×4 drive. The Boys anti-tank rifle faced forward in the front of the hull.

Aris Kubelwagen V2 by Aristoteles http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2652 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2652#comments Tue, 27 Oct 2015 08:58:24 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2652 These are updated textures of my original Kubelwagen mod. Unlike my latest Kubelwagen for CMFI, weathering is less dusty, muddier, and colors are less desaturated. I like it better now myself, hope you enjoy it too,

Aris Panther A Early V2 by Aristoteles http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2525 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2525#respond Wed, 30 Sep 2015 12:34:28 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2525 Panther A early was my first mod for CMx2 series. After more than 120 mods it was somehow embarrassign to see how I used to modify stock textures,…I created this version 2 for my personal use some time ago, a folk at the forums asked for it,…and here you have it.

Stock textures in the turret are covered, always, with spare tracks, which prevent decals to show up, so I created a modified alpha channel texture that allows to see them. Look for it in the Decals folder. Rename, copy it and overwrite if you want numbers instead of tracks in the turret.

Aris Churchill V by Aristoteles http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2514 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2514#respond Fri, 18 Sep 2015 11:14:12 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2514 Despite its early defects the Churchill evolved into one of the key British tanks of the war. In addition to serving in its traditional role, the Churchill was frequently adapted into specialist vehicles such as flame tanks, mobile bridges, armored personnel carriers, and armored engineer tanks. Retained after the war, the Churchill remained in British service until 1952.

The Churchill V was a Churchill III / IV which was equipped with a close support 95 mm howitzer in place of the main gun (47 rounds).
