A quick reference weather report tool for CMBS. Weather information required for the Combat Mission Scenario Editor has been recorded for every three hours from across the Ukraine during the time frame of the Black Sea Crisis.

Caveat: The authors are not meteorologists.

Enjoy!

Ithikial’s CMFB German Snowy Uniforms http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=4478 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=4478#comments Fri, 02 Sep 2016 10:35:37 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=4478 This is a collection of German infantry, vehicle crew uniform and gear textures that provides a ‘dusting of snow’ over the base textures from Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg. (Heer, Waffen SS and Falschirmjager). It was inspired by Umlaut’s work with the German Uniforms in Fortress Italy. Ever since using those files, going back to clean uniforms while fighting in a snowstorm has appeared a little off.

The base textures are 99% from the Final Blitzkrieg base game with a handful of others from the community for increased variety in the snow set. Special thanks also to Umlaut for giving permission to use his CMFI Uniform snow effects where applicable.

All files in this package are already mod tagged, so the snow textures will automatically appear each time the ground conditions of a battle is set as ‘Patchy Snow’ or greater.

I live in one of the hottest climates on the planet and have spent a grand total of six days of my entire life in snow. If there is any snow grogs out there with suggested improvements just let me know.

Ithikial’s Combat Mission Victory Calculator (Version 2) http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=4236 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=4236#comments Wed, 25 May 2016 12:52:40 +0000 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=4236 One for the scenario designers.

Ever wanted an automated way of working out all the possible outcomes for a scenario you are designing before you’ve reached testing?

This little Excel workbook does the work for you. Plug in your scenario victory conditions just as they would appear in the editor and play around with possible Victory Point scores for both sides to see what the final outcome of the battle will be.

Instructions (what little there is besides entering some point values), are included as comments inside the workbook. Hover your mouse over the red mark to see what goes where. The workbook will auto calculate whenever you enter the appropriate numbers.

The Combat Mission manuals and JonS’ excellent Scenario Design Manual cover everything else about assigning point values and what they mean in game.

Hope it saves you some time.

(And the scenario editor doesn’t bite) 🙂
